Life With Jesus is Better
Today I wonder if you might be willing to begin the process. To release yourself from the burden of the grudges you carry by totally forgiving someone. It may be that you set a prisoner free, and then realize that the prisoner is you.
He chose you. You’re his. No one and no thing is going to take you away from him. He loves you that much. He’s got you. You’re his.
I don’t know what conquest is in front of you, or what fear might be keeping you from becoming the man or woman God is calling you to be. I don’t know what races through your mind when you have your panic attacks laying in your bed at night. But I do know He promises to fight for you. And He’s wearing his pointy toed boots!
He didn’t roll the dice and get what genetics gave him. He didn’t roll the dice at all. He saw me. All of me. Broken. Sick. Abandoned. Unwanted. And he chose me anyway.
I am still learning to not be ashamed of my scars, but instead to use them as a tool to point others to the goodness of God. My prayer for you is that no matter how deep the wounds, no matter how glaring or embarrassing the imperfection, that you would come to the very freeing realization that God knows about them all, and chooses you anyway.
